Former Atalanta youngster Amad Diallo has had a strong start to life with Rangers, taking another important step in his career.
The 19-year-old Ivorian winger joined Manchester United in a deal worth around €21.3m last January but he struggled for game time in Manchester, mostly appearing for the Under-23 team. The teenager signed a six-month loan deal with Rangers last month and things have started well.
Diallo has made four Scottish Premiership appearances so far under coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst, for a total of 133 minutes. In that time, he’s scored one goal against Ross County and shown positive signs, giving the Dutch coach something to think about.
His positive experiences could tempt brother Hamed Traore to leave Sassuolo in the upcoming summer transfer window. A number of top clubs around Europe including Arsenal and Juventus are following the 22-year-old midfielder and he may be ready for the next step in his career.
